Nissi Ogulu Receives ‘Youth Icon Award’ at Forbes Woman Africa Summit 2025

Nissi Ogulu spoke at the Forbes Woman Africa Leading Women Summit 2025, where she addressed an audience of leaders, innovators, and professionals. She was recognized with the ‘Youth Icon Award’ for her contributions across music, visual arts, engineering, and entrepreneurship.

Ogulu highlighted her work with Kemet Automotive, the electric vehicle company she co-founded, and spoke about the need for sustainable innovation, infrastructure investment, and policies that support African entrepreneurs. Reflecting on her experience as an engineer who contributed to the 2023 Range Rover model, she encouraged young women to enter industries where they are underrepresented.
