Elle Muhoza Crowned Miss Uganda 2025

Elle Muhoza, 22, from Bukomansimbi, was crowned Miss Uganda 2025 at a glamorous finale held on Saturday night at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel.

Muhoza, a crowd favourite throughout the competition, received thunderous applause as the audience waved placards bearing her face when she was announced the winner. She plans to use her reign to empower single mothers, particularly those affected by domestic violence.

The First Runner-Up, Agatha Drakes Keine, also walked away with the titles of Multimedia Queen and Miss Photogenic, while Faith Kirabo was crowned Second Runner-Up and Miss Beach Beauty.

The event was filled with dazzling moments, from the contestants confidently answering questions on health, leadership, environmental conservation, and personal aspirations, to electrifying performances by Tracy Mellon, Aziz Azion, Grace Nakimera, and the Abeeka Band.

V&A Sherry, the main sponsor of the pageant, provided each contestant with seed funding for community projects. Muhoza also received UGX 5 million in cash and drove away in a brand-new Toyota Wish.

Hillary Baguma, Brand Manager of Mainstream Spirits at UBL, said V&A was proud to support the Miss Uganda Foundation’s vision of “Beauty with a Purpose.”

Miss Uganda CEO Brenda Nanyonjo expressed her joy at the successful event, praising the growth of the contestants and thanking sponsors including V&A Sherry, StarTimes Makula Kika, Mi Phone, Tianao Furniture, U Home, and Entikko Safari Lodge.

Muhoza will now represent Uganda at the Miss World pageant, carrying her message of empowerment to a global stage.
