Egyptian Entrepreneur Merges Luxury Cars and Watercraft

An Egyptian entrepreneur has created high-performance watercraft designed to resemble luxury sports cars, offering an adrenaline-fueled experience that feels like driving on water.

“We managed to make them in shapes that are very similar to real luxury cars,” said Karim Amin, founder and owner of Jetcar Kromh.

What began as a small project in 2019 with $50,000 in capital and a modest workshop has grown into a thriving business. Nearly 1,000 jetcars have been sold in more than 70 countries, with prices ranging from $17,000 to $40,000, depending on the engine type.

Each jetcar is customizable, with customers able to choose design elements for the exterior. The vehicles can also be fitted with electric motors, providing an eco-friendly alternative. Amin remains open to innovation and regularly tests new ideas to refine the jetcars.

His next goal is to develop a version of the jetcar that can also be used on roads. Most of the materials used in production are sourced locally, except for the engine and select accessories.
